Sol

Tone is tired. Tone just wants
in tonelessness to swim

entertaining toneless thoughts —
pasture, surface, blur —

and leaving the radio on
somewhere between stations,

toneless and breathless and breathing deeply
beyond all talk of talk

in the dream where tonelessness
audible unto itself

begins at last to dream again
of tone.
